Neil Saved Tigers!

Everybody knows how much Neil loves photography. He carries his camera whenevr he goes on an outdoor shoot.

He was shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s SAAT KHOON MAAF in Mysore when he clicked some pictures of tigers.

When he clicked the pictures of the tigers he knew it then that he would like to use them in some way for the NGO whose initiative he supports.

The organisation works towards saving the tiger and protecting their habitat. Neil did just that. He donated the picture to the initiative and it was put up for auction.

The picture fetched a whooping amount and Neil was really glad that he could support the cause in some way.

Tusshar In Sin City

Tusshar Kapoor took a trip to Las Vegas, USA after the release of GOLMAAL 3. He flew there to join his friend Kareena Kapoor who invited him to visit her on the sets of Karan Johar's untitled film.

Says the actor "Our whole gang of friends Lovely Singh and Kareena's hair stylist Pompi included was there. She was busy shooting, so we could only hang around with her in the evenings but my purpose was just to chill and I did just that.

Luckily, I managed to get two weeks off from the shooting of HUM TUM AUR SHABANA, so I could make the most of it."

Kapoor adds that after years he broke his strict diet and ate anything and everything. "I broke almost every rule... I binged on pizzas, pastas nachos and even rice at night. Though I am not a shopper, I shopped and raided most of the malls for food and outfits. I have eaten at every good restaurant in town Cheesecake Factory, Tao, Denise which is (the quintessential family restaurant open for 24 hours), Lavo and the Bellagio. "

The G3 actor had interesting experiences with many Indian families who loved his last release, "They loved my character and the movie so much that they insisted that I have lunch with them."

‘PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA’ To Be Made In Telugu

Subhash kapoor is a happy man. His small budget film PGRO will be made in Telugu.

That’s true. A prominent southern producer has requested the remake rights of this movie.

“Yes it is true. Sayed Ayub, who runs a prominent production house in the south, has approached us with an offer to remake the film in Telegu, “confirms an elated Subhash Kapoor.

He is assured that with such a universal story line, PHANS GAYE RE OBAMA can be made in any language.

 He further adds, “We will finalise the terms and conditions by next week. I strongly feel that while the basic concept and the storyline of the film are fresh, the film’s simplicity can be adapted in any language. The story of a millionaire getting kidnapped and people making money out of it can fit in any language and culture.”

This year Bollywood has seen some of the most unlikely movies making it big. UDAAN, PEEPLI LIVE, TERE BIN LADEN and LSD are some of those movies which were small but became successful.

Subhash welcomes the trends but believes that his film is different in some respect. He says, “
And Kapoor believes that his film has bagged this opportunity without any external support. He says, “Other small films this year had big names behind them. UDAAN had an Anurag Kashyap, PEEPLI LIVE had an Aamir Khan, TERE BIN LADEN had Manmohan Shetty and LSD had Ekta Kapoor. That our film will have a Telegu remake is very encouraging.”

Kangana Chickened Out Of ‘RAGINI MMS’

An otherwise bold Kangana Ranaut chickened out of balaji’s next RAGINI MMS because of strong explicit content. Film was supposed to go on floor this week.

Confirms a source, “Yes, RAGINI MMS has a lot of explicit content. That could be one of the reasons why Kangna turned it down. She would have been ideal for this film, as she is a very strong actress, but it's okay. There is no animosity between Kangna and Ekta. Balaji is considering Kangna for other forthcoming projects.”

RAGINI MMS, supposedly another LOVE SEX AUR DHOKA, was being pitched as paranormal thriller which initially attracted Kangana but she was not ok with skin exposure in movie.

“That's right. I did speak to Kangna about doing RAGINI MMS. But then, the language in the film is very explicit. While talking to Kangna, I felt that she was more inclined to do a love story, which I will do with her in the near future. So for now, it's going to be fresh faces in RAGINI MMS, “ says Ekta Kapoor.

Well we all know how professional Ekta is at finding a fresh but talented face.

Ranbir Got A New Fatwa

Papa Rishi has given special instruction to junior Kapoor. He doesn’t want him to shake his booty off screen. That may cause some problem to ladies around!!!

It so happens that Rishi Kapoor is a great strategist and has a reason behind everything he asks Ranbir to do or not do.

As far as dancing is concerned, daddy Kapoor has asked beta Kapoor not to give his nod for performing at any event – be it weddings or even award functions no matter how much ever the money!

Rishi wants Ranbir to maintain certain exclusivity for his fans, so that whenever he goes on a world tour he has something new to offer those willing to spend a huge buck and is not repetitive.

Ranbir Kapoor has found this 'clause' to be rather clever and has abided by it so far. The Kapoors are planning a world tour in 2011, and RK is getting set to do some exclusive stuff for his fans. If talks are to be believed even Rishi will join Ranbir on stage for a shake or two. Money calling, we think!

SRK Is New Mentor Of Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra decided to give Shah Rukh Khan a surprise visit at a studio in Mumbai where he was recording the promo of his forthcoming reality TV show.

TOI spotted the sexy actress arrive at the location in her lavish car and head straight into the sets where she greeted SRK. King Khan looked pleasantly surprised to see Priyanka, who has been a close friend and industry ally of the superstar for years now. SRK escorted Priyanka to his plush custom-made vanity van where the two spent at least half an hour bonding with each other. Post that Priyanka came out of the van and flaunted her camera to the superstar.

We also saw SRK tutor the svelte siren with photography tricks. The actor taught Priyanka how to get the perfect frame and some other tricks with the slick machine. Priyanka was an obedient learner as she quickly tried her hands at what SRK taught her. For half an hour, Shah Rukh taught Priyanka several things about the camera post which a visibly satisfied Priyanka bid adieu to her friend.

Rani To Marry Aditya In Feb

There is new buzz going on in B-town- Rani Mukerji is going to wed Aditya Chopra in February.

This is going to be third time when duo might marry. There are strong rumours that Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra are set to get engaged in February and tie the knot thereafter.

According to top B-town sources, the long-time lovers, who live across the road from each other (Adi's Vikas Park residence in Juhu is diametrically opposite Rani's Theosophical Society compound bungalow) and who are yet to admit to their relationship, are ready to walk down the aisle. The last two times the rumour about their marriage broke was in 2008 and 2009 respectively but Rani came out boldly, rubbishing them.

However this time, industry seniors, particularly close to the Yash Chopra camp, give us indications. The two apparently never confirmed their relationship because Aditya was locked in a bitter divorce case with Payal Khanna, his childhood sweetheart. Adi, who married Payal when he was 30, filed for divorce in April 2009. They were connected even professionally as it was Payal who designed their plush production house.

Rani remained unavailable for comment, but her close friends denied any marriage plans. Incidentally Rani's No One Killed Jessica is being screened to the who's who of Delhi including politicians and armymen. Rani will be hosting a private screening only for Adi soon. Of course the media will not know what Adi thought of the film because he doesn't talk to the press. Tch...tch...

Poonam Dhillon and Champak Jain Release Audio CDs of FARAAR

Renowned actress Poonam Dhillon and Champak Jain of Venus released the audio CDs of Producer-director Santosh Gupta and MuseCineflix's Faraar on Dec.6th at Yogesh Lakhani's Bright Terrace Party Hall in the presence of the stars and the technicians of the film and media personnel.

Vaishnav Deva has composed the music and Santosh Gupta has written lyrics of this movie. Movie has been co produced by Chandrahas Kuchya.

 Akbar Khan, Shahbaaz Khan,Laila Nabeel,Amit Behl and Piyush Suhane are lead cast of this movie.

 The film is due for worldwide release in January/ February 2011.

Katrina To Miss Family This Year

This year is going to be real hectic for TEES MAAR KHAN actress Katrina Kaif. She will forego her usual Christmas vacation with her family in London, thanks to her Farah Khan (their film is due for release Christmas Eve) and her MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN co-star Imran Khan.
Explains the actress, "Ideally, I'd have liked to be in London with my siblings and mom for Christmas but TEES MAAR KHAN is up for release. So I pushed the trip back to the New Year."

Prod her some more, and she lets the cat out of the bag,"Imran's wedding is on 8 January. We have to finish another schedule before his wedding because he's taking time off after that."

She will rush through the current schedule of Zoya Akhtar's ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA before getting into the preponed schedule of MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN for IK's sake.

She adds, "Imran is a really cool guy .I don't mind working extra-time to wrap up our schedule in time for his wedding. Shootings will go on. Imran's wedding will happen only once."

Vidya To Play Pregnant Woman

Vidya Balan will be seen in a totally different avatar in Sujoy Ghosh's KAHAANI. The actress will be seen as a woman with a six-month baby belly. And it is not just in passing. The actress will be seen with a big bump throughout the film.

Shot in Kolkata and London the film will be out some time mid 2011. A source reveals, "Vidya's character is that of a pregnant woman whose husband travels from London to India for work. However, he goes missing and she comes to Kolkata in search of him."

Sujoy, who just wrapped the Kolkata schedule, confirms, "It's the story of a woman who's six months pregnant and her journey. I had written the script keeping Vidya in mind. I wouldn't have made the film without her. For me she's a perfectionist who has beautifully brought the character alive."

He adds that she met the challenges of playing an expecting mom rather well, "She made it look so effortless. She never compromised on any aspect of filmmaking. Since cinema is a visual medium it was very important for her to look the part. There is lot of simplicity in her character and at the same time great turmoil within.

Also there were boundaries because a pregnant woman isn't Batman or Superman. She can't do much, there's only so much you can make her do. But the beauty lies in the vulnerability and subtle nuances that she's used to play the character."

Bhandarkar bowed To Censor

Bhandarkar has a history of making socially bold films and using bold remarks. This time it is his movie DIL TOH BACHCHA HAI JI which is getting the heat.

The second TV trailer of his next, DIL TOH BACHCHA HAI JI, has run into trouble with the Censor Board.

The Censors have demanded that Bhandarkar mute two words from the trailer: 'sex

and 'pornographic'. Last heard, Bhandarkar had toed the line. "Or else, the Censors would refuse to give their nod of consent. No amount of argument from officials of Bhandarkar Entertainment helped," says a source close to Bhandarkar.

Explaining the scenes which have these words, the source said, "The Censors objected to two scenes. The first scene in question has Omi Vaidya telling Ajay Devgn, 'Shaadi se pehle sex never;.

The second scene in question has Emraan Hashmi asking Shruti Hassan about her hobbies, to which Shruti replies, "Mujhe pornography dekhna bahut pasand hai'.

When contacted, Bhandarkar admitted, "I did the needful. I had no choice, did I?"

Is Jacqueline Two-timing Ritesh?

Does Jacqueline Fernandes want to be with ‘good friend’ Ritesh Deshmukh or boyfriend of 10 years, Hassan?

The story also clarified that Ritesh's alleged long-time squeeze Jacqueline Fernandez is no longer a part of his life and that one of Jacqueline's caustic comments had actually triggered the break-up.

But the tables have turned. It seems Ritesh can't get the Sri Lankan beauty out of his mind. Grapevine has it that last week, Ritesh and Jacqueline spent quality time together in Jaipur.

They flew down to the city to attend a close friend, Vishal Malhotra's wedding. But interestingly, post the wedding ceremonies, Jacqueline wasted no time in booking a ticket and flying out immediately to Bahrain; her boyfriend of 10 years, Hassan lives there.

A source present at the wedding revealed, "Ritesh and Jacqueline both had flown down to Jaipur and were staying at the same five-star hotel. In fact, they were staying in adjacent rooms on the same floor. They attended the marriage functions on December 5 and 6 and both of them flew back to their respective destinations.

At the wedding, Ritesh and Jacqueline were seen in each other's company the whole time. One could see a lot of chemistry between the two."

But is someone two-timing someone? A source close to Jacqueline said, "She has been in a committed relationship with her Bahrain-based boyfriend Hassan for the past 10 years and they are in a very steady relationship. There were reports of Jacqueline and Ritesh being together but she always maintained distance.

She is really fond of Ritesh and they spend a lot of time together but she knows her priorities well. Ritesh too is very of her but somehow things have never gone to the next level."

Indra Kumar Met dhak dhak Girl

Indra Kumar saw a revival of past when he went to meet Madhuri Dixit.

When Indra Kumar walked into Filmistan Studios on Monday evening, to meet Madhuri Dixit, who was shooting her entry sequence for the reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, he least expected what happened next.

The moment Kumar entered the premises; he heard a song very close to his heart: Dhak dhak karne laaga from his 1992 film, BETA. Surprisingly, after 18 years, it was as though the past had come back to life.

The scene at Filmistan Studios had the same actress, wearing the same costume, dancing to the instructions of the same choreographer Saroj Khan, while being filmed by the same cameraman Baba Azmi.

Indra Kumar said, “It was a co-incidence and was like reliving the past. I had just gone there to meet Madhuri and I saw the same team of BETA. They all requested me to direct the shot and I did. Very few people get this opportunity.

I did and that too without any effort from my end.”

Hrithik Got Mobbed

Hrithik Roshan recently went through a security scare at Delhi airport. Hrithik, who was touring the city, was flying back from the national capital when his flight got a bit delayed.

The hunk had to wait at the airport and seing him strolling, there was bound to be a mob attack and it did happen. However, Hrithik getting mobbed was getting a little out of hand with the crowd only swelling in number by the second.

Seeing this, airport officials called in extra security at that particular area to control the situation. Of course, no one got hurt, but Hrithik's fans managed to get a piece of him.
